A Global Leader in the Environmental Services / Waste Collection sector is currently seeking a VP to spearhead this thriving BU.

Key Business-Based Objectives for Position:

STRATEGY: Drive an environmental services waste collection business unit, improving efficiencies in logistics/transportation and continuous waste capacity. Determine best utilization of all personnel and assets.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT: Participate in visits with clients as suitable to ongoing operations.

OPERATIONS: Full operational responsibility for this environmental services waste collection business unit, which includes oversight of all waste collection facilities.

GENERAL MANAGEMENT: GM of entire BU.

CHANGE MANAGEMENT: Require a “Safety First” culture from the top down and instill best practices in logistical management.

Core Qualifications:

• 4-year college degree, preferably in environmental sciences (geology and/or engineering), business, or logistics. MBA a plus.
• 5+ years in waste collection and/or transportation sector.
• Transportation logistics.
• Working knowledge of environmental rules and regulations.
• Management experience: 5+ years’ senior leadership of a large team in related sector.
• Hazardous waste experience desirable
• Business acumen.
• Strategic leadership experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
