Job Description

Are you seeking a Vice President / Business Development position which could tap into your expansive oil and gas network to propel you to wealth accumulation?  Do you have an impressive outside sales, including cold calling, and business development background selling to the oil and gas sector in the Greater Houston Market?  If so, then we would definitely like to hear from you.

A Record-Breaking National Leader in the business credit / factoring sector is currently seeking VP/BD executives in the Greater Houston Market to join their team.


Key Business-Based Objectives for Position:

  • Actively procure new customers via participation in community, business events and external call program to prospects.
  • Initiate and make group presentations to oil and gas executives responsible for financial decisions in the Greater Houston Market.
  • Follow-up with prospective clients for additional information required in the underwriting and approval process.
  • Facilitate customer retention.

Core Qualifications:

  • College Graduate – business-related degree preferred.
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in outside sales to oil and gas sector in Houston market.
  • Verifiable network within the oil and gas sector in Houston.
  • Proven history of success selling to oil and gas sector.
  • Experience in maintaining contacts/activities in a CRM.
  • Strong presentation skills – formal, informal; community activities to the board room.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
  • Proven ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Availability to work after hours. Hours often exceed 40 hours per week.
