An Industry-Leading specialty technical manufacturing company is currently seeking a dynamic Chief Financial Officer to manage their rapidly growing, state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

This position reports to the President of a $200MM+ global specialty technical manufacturing operation, a division of an international organization.

Organization Wide, across all BUs and regions, scope includes financial reporting on variances and projects, budgeting, driving budgeting reviews, forecasting, P&L, balance sheet, financial modeling, risk analysis, return & analysis, planning & analysis, reconcilements, policies, accounts payable/receivable; leading/developing global financial team; collaborating with President and executive management in assisting on strategic and tactical matters related to budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs, M&A activities, and securing of funding; communicating clearly and timely with parent company; presenting to Board of Directors; drive financial improvement and systematic changes; prepare or manage the preparation of management reports; develop tools to drive improvement and operational change.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

o Lead global finance and contracts team/functions
o Provide financial leadership for the organization. Lead forecasting process and ensure financials are prepared and distributed in a timely manner.
 Included: financial reporting on variances and projects, budgeting, forecasting, P&L, balance sheet, financial modeling, risk analysis, return & analysis, planning & analysis, reconcilements, policies, accounts payable/receivable.
o Drive financial improvement and systematic changes.
o Prepare or manage the preparation of management reports.
o Develop tools to drive improvement and operational change.
o Drop in a financial operation;
o Develop/Mentor global financial team;
o Collaborate with President and executive management in assisting on strategic and tactical matters related to budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs, M&A activities, and securing of funding;
o Communicate clearly and timely with parent company; and
o Make presentations to Board of Directors.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance. Master’s or MBA preferred.
• High end thinking.
• Bottom line performance mindset.
• Strong oral and written communication skills. Aggressive communicator up and down org structure.
• 5+ years financial leadership required, including recent international responsibility for an overseas site.
Preference: Experience with China, India, Europe (EU): Understanding of culture and law of these countries. Culture development, integration.
• Financial responsibility for $50M++ division of international organization – preferably, public.
o Balance sheet, P&L, risk analysis, return and analysis.
• Manufacturing sector experience strongly desired.
• Construction sector experience strongly desired.
• Good business acumen.
Solid understanding of how businesses operate: why are we here: communicate to the employees that we work for shareholders. Good understanding of profitability and how to improve profitability. Excellent understanding of the P&L, balance sheet. Balance between culture and production.
• Experience leading and developing a financial team.
Collaborate with executive leaders for integrative approach to talent development and high potential identification.
Mentoring and high potential program development: monitor success of programs: adjust to meet/exceed objectives.
• Solid Excel and math skills
o Understand: what the numbers are telling us, how to drill down within the numbers, what the patterns/trends show and mean.
o Understanding of HFM.
o Understanding of financial modeling.
